The handheld microscope is specially designed to be lightweight for use in the field. Simple to operate, it comes with two magnifications (20x and 60x) and a battery-powered LED light to illuminate specimens. The accompanying Guided Field Journal includes instructions, practice tasks, inspiring specimen ideas and loads more.
While this powerful, kids microscope is great at magnification, it features a delicate lens cover to ensure lightweight use while exploring outdoors - and requires some care be taken not to drop or lean on the microscope.
