Easter Fun at The Toy Box

Can you believe Easter is just around the corner?  Just quietly, I'm looking forward to a long weekend and I know my children are definitely looking forward to a visit from the Easter Bunny and some chocolate!  

If you're after an easy Easter recipe to make with your children, you can't go past this easy Easter Bark Recipe below.  It makes a great gift for someone over Easter or if you're looking for ways to use up excess Easter Eggs after Easter it's also perfect for that!

Easter Egg Chocolate Bark

Ingredients:

  • 200 grams milk chocolate (you can use up leftover Easter Eggs here if you choose!)
  • A few handfuls of mini easter eggs
  • Sprinkles

 

Instructions:

  • Line a 20cm square baking tin with baking paper
  • Melt the milk chocolate either in the microwave or a double boiler
  • Pour the melted chocolate into the baking tin and smooth it out gently
  • Decorate with your mini Easter Eggs and sprinkles!
  • Leave to set in the fridge for approximately 2 hours
  • When set, cut or break into chunks and enjoy!
